Guidance Week message from Nathan Simmons QGCA President

Guidance Week is an important opportunity for the QGCA to recognise the significant contribution of guidance officers and school counsellors working across state, Catholic and independent schools. Our work sits at the heart of academic development and social and emotional wellbeing, supporting students to navigate challenges, build resilience and make informed decisions about their futures.

Across diverse school contexts, our members play a vital role in ensuring young people are seen, supported and given the best chance to thrive in their educational settings. On behalf of the QGCA Executive Committee, I wish all our members a wonderful Guidance Week.
